I have been practicing Yoga for over a decade and the reason I come back to it time and time again is because it is supportive yet versatile. Yoga can be used for maintaining suppleness and strength and enhancing muscle tone. It can also be adapted to cross train for other major sports such as running, cycling and swimming, surfing, climbing or hiking.Yoga is the foundation of my exercise regime. Yoga can be whatever you want it to be, whatever stage of life you are at or whatever might be going on externally in your life Yoga can support you.
I like to dip in and out of all aspect of Yoga. Yes, it is true, Yoga can be a lifestyle choice as well and it can permeate every aspect of your life if you want it to, but that is the beauty of its versatility and why I believe that everyone can benefit from incorporating a little or a lot of Yoga into their lives.
Carey Yoga & Nutrition offers a range of different Yogic services. I teach classes locally in Waterville, County Kerry. I offer one to one sessions for people who want to hone their yoga practice or if they want to dip the toe in without the whole class experience.
