Yoga Immersion | 11 August 2018

Join me at the stunning Aislinn Yoga Lodge for a luxurious two and half hours of yoga, meditation and a nutrient dense post yoga smoothie. The theme of this immersion will be based on the Root Chakra, Muladhara. Our physical practice will focus on grounding and building a strong foundation. And we will consider how we can apply what we learn on the mat to our daily lives, in a really fun and relaxed way! We will start at 10am with a brief overview of our theme. Moving into some centering and grounding work to get us into our “yoga zone” followed by an hour and a half physical practice. We will then spend 30 minutes in a gorgeous guided meditation known as Yoga Nidra or “Yogic Sleep”, finishing off with a super refreshing, nutrient dense, homemade post yoga smoothie. As always, all levels of ability are welcome. If you would like to discuss suitability further please contact me. The cost of the immersion is €40. A small deposit will be required to book your …

Kayaking + Yoga Day Trip

Are you looking for something really special to do this summer? I’m teaming up with the amazing crew at Sea Synergy to deliver a Yoga experience that is truly unique. We will be kayaking out to the beautiful, 12th century monastic site of Church Island, located in the middle of Lough Currane, Waterville. Once we land on the island, surrounded by the remains of the old monastery, the expanse of the open water and the majestic mountainous terrain we’ll get set up to have a yoga and meditation session like no other. We will be arranging for a boat to accompany us out to the island transporting our gear and also a healthy, plastic free picnic designed to fuel us for the journey back to mainland in our kayaks. The investment for this awesome day is €80. This includes the rental of all of the water gear and lunch (lunch will be vegetarian). Registration and a small deposit will be required to reserve your space and spaces are limited so we would encourage you to …

And most importantly, I didn’t want to have to turn the oven on for very long (#sweating)! I had all of these gorgeous herbs brightening up my kitchen, thriving away in the sunshine and the staple garlic, strong mustard, capers and olive oil so I hatched a plan to make some Salsa Verde. I grilled some free range chicken …
