Deconstruct Your Asana | Low Lunge

Low Lunge | Anjaneyasana   Instructions Come to an all fours, table top position. Take a moment to bring the knees to hip distance apart. Coming up on the finger tips, move the right foot forward to come on the inside of the right hand. Take a moment to make sure the right knee is now stacked over the right ankle and the knee is tracking the middle toes. The back hip will move forward away from the stack of the back knee into a deep lunge. There are two options for the position of the back foot. It may feel more stable to have the back toes curled under or you may want to rest on the top of the foot. Lengthen through the top of the head to elongate the spine. Yoga Immersion | 22 September

Join me at the stunning Aislinn Yoga Lodge for a luxurious two and half hours of yoga, meditation and a nutrient dense post yoga smoothie. The theme of this immersion will be based on the Third Chakra, Manipura. Our physical practice will focus on core work, creating heat and working through challenging postures with a confident mindset. And we will consider how we can apply what we learn on the mat to our daily lives, in a really fun and relaxed way! We will start at 10am with a brief overview of our theme. Moving into some centering and grounding work to get us into our “yoga zone” followed by an hour and a half physical practice. We will then spend 30 minutes in a gorgeous guided meditation known as Yoga Nidra or “Yogic Sleep”, finishing off with a super refreshing, nutrient dense, homemade post yoga smoothie.
